Molina Healthcare is pleased to announce the launch of virtual care!

Molina Healthcare offers free virtual care to Apple Health members statewide.  This new service is available for free to all Molina Apple Health (Medicaid) members in Washington.

Molina's virtual clinic aims to supplement the work of our outstanding provider network, reduce unnecessary ED visits, and improve member outcomes by giving families access to care 24/7.

Now, members can get the care they need (via phone, webcam, smartphone, tablet or PC) anytime they are unable to visit their PCP due to transportation, childcare barriers or appointment availability.

All virtual care physicians and nurse practitioners are Washington-based, able to treat common urgent care conditions and write prescriptions, when clinically appropriate.  Using evidence-based practice guidelines, virtual care clinicians are required to send visit summaries to PCPs and set follow-up appointments for members with their PCPs when advisable to maintain continuity of care.  Visit summaries will be faxed for ease and convenience.

Molina is offering this service through our contracted provider, Carena, INC.  Carena partners with health systems to extend their services to more patients through high-quality, integrated virtual clinics.

Members can access virtual care by calling (844) 870-6821 or visiting wavirtualcare.molinahealthcare.com.  They will be connected to a provider within 30 minutes.  No appointment required.
